FAQ

      What to Expect of Me

What to expect of your photos

      Timelines & Extras

What kind of editing can I expect?

The Best! Samantha has been working with photoshop and lightroom for over 10years now and has a passion for editing. We make sure the photos are at their full potential.

How do you deal with large groups?

Amazingly and easily! I have a huge family and I think that being loud and french serves me very well with all types of groups. I'm friendly, fun, bubbly and get along with absolutely everyone I meet. I also love children!

I'm getting married in a church, what can I expect?

I'll be a ghost whether you're in a church, a field or in your own backyard. I make it my goal to be swift and out of people's way.

Can we contact you at any time during the process?

Absolutely! I love when my clients contact me with questions whether it be regarding the photos, timeline, or even what vendors to use for their big day. As much as I'm a vendor, I'm also your friend and I want nothing more than to help make your big day as special as possible.

How will I receive my images?

All sessions will be delivered via online gallery accessible by you and shareable with all your family and friends! You'll be able to download all your images directly to your computer cutting out the middle man.

I've heard someone ask for RAW files, can I get those?

Unfortunately you may not have any photos in the RAW format. A photographer is just like any other artist, we want to give you the image we saw when we captured it, and we want it to be at it's full potential and beauty. A RAW file would be like giving you an outline of a painting, unfinished and unpolished. As an artist, I choose to only give out my best work.

How many photos will I receive?

That varies on many things i.e the amount of hours chosen for your package, the amount of details put into your day etc. An average 8hour wedding will receive anywhere from 500-800 Photos, all depending.

When can I expect my photos?

Smaller sessions have a turn around time of two weeks. A wedding has a turn around time of anywhere from 4-10weeks depending on the season.

You do however get a sneak peek of your wedding via my blog within 72hours!

      Will the images be watermarked?

Only the ones viewed on my website. The collection you receive will be in High Resolution and without watermarks. We do however love social media and would appreciate a tag when sharing the photos ;).

Will you help us with our timeline?

I love helping couples create a timeline. Most people don't think of things like the sun at certain times of day, or when sunset is, but I do! I want to help you create the ideal timeline for yourself and for your photos.

How quickly in advance do you book?

I only take 15 weddings per season and am usually booked up by February for the year. I do open up dates for smaller weddings when needed. I've also booked up to two years in advance for dates but it never hurts to check if I'm available for your date!

I'm ready to book! What are the next steps?

Send me an email, go for it, it's a click away! We can set up a date to meet up, grab some coffee, go over your ideas for your big day and dream together. Your date will only be reserved once a contract is signed and deposit is paid, but we'll go over all of that during our meeting.
