People often say to strive for perfection. At Samantha Danis photography, there is no such thing. I live for the real moments, the awkward laughter, those tiny touches and kisses, and everything in between. Quality is what I pride myself on the most which is something everyone can expect when hiring me. I am your Ottawa Wedding Photographer!
As much as I love photography, it’s everything else that has to do with the photograph that I love even more. I strive to give you everything, including those imperfect moments you wouldn’t think of capturing on your big day. Finally, my goal is to make you laugh, cry and re-live all those special moments that you may otherwise forget once the day is done.

What can I say about Sam? She is hilarious, comforting, easy going and made the whole process easy. She is your friend from the beginning until the very end.

I was so nervous about getting a wedding photographer because my husband really hates getting his picture taken. A lot. As soon as we met with Sam I knew we had made the right decision. Not only is Sam outgoing and personable - she is professional, organized, and knows how to take a great photo.
Finally, our wedding photos were stunning.Also, Sam got them to us super quick too, despite coming down with the plague a few days after our wedding (okay maybe it was strep throat, but still, THAT is great customer service).

Sam was absolutely incredible. Not only are her photography skills phenomenal, but it was her personality that sold us on her right from our first meeting. Sam went above and beyond to capture our special day. She stood on a picnic table, waded through ankle-deep water, and climbed through tall grass, all with a smile on her face, just to get the perfect shot. Our guests were so impressed with her organizational skills. All day, Sam made us feel comfortable, which was very important to us. Within a few days, she wrote a beautiful blog post about our wedding, which many have described as giving them the feeling that they were there with us. We cannot recommend Sam and SD Photography enough!

About me snippet
I’m a lover of everything related to the arts, music, movies, painting, photography, you name it. I’m a huge music and movie junkie to the point where my soccer team has deemed me the human jukebox since I’m always singing. Photography came to me by accident when I ended up going to college for it to gain a portfolio for the program I actually wanted to go in, graphic design. Combining my new knowledge of camera equipment, lighting and my love for everything weddings, it was only natural I would follow up with becoming a wedding photographer. As an Ottawa Wedding Photographer, I know the competition can be fierce but I also believe that my work speaks for itself and that the quality service and products I provide will show clients that investing in their memories is completely and utterly worth it.
